Optional cryopreservation sampling, used for molecular data from regulatory testing on chemicals, has been officially recognized in the latest OECD test guidelines.
Soon, this approach will be further supported by a new OECD guidance focused on best practices and standardization for sample collection in omics analysis.
Thanks to these updated recommendations, research laboratories and Contract Research Organizations (CROs) now have a clear reference on how to properly collect and preserve samples for various omics platforms.
