Implementing Decisions (EU) 2022/1484, 2022/1485, 2022/1486, 2022/1487, 2022/1488, 2022/1489, 2022/1495, and 2022/1496 postponing the expiration date of the approval of the following active substances have been published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU L233 of 08/09/2022 and L234 of 09/09/2022):
- DDACarbonate for the use in biocidal products of product-type 8 (Wood preservatives) to July 31, 2025;
- IPBC for the use in biocidal products of product-type 8 (Wood preservatives) as of July 31, 2025;
- Acrolein for the use in biocidal products of product-type 12 (Slimicides) to Feb. 28, 2025;
- Etofenprox for the use in biocidal products of product-type 8 (Wood preservatives) to October 31, 2026;
- K-HDO for the use in biocidal products of product-type 8 (Wood preservatives) to December 31, 2026;
- Spinosad for the use in biocidal products of product-type 18 (Insecticides, acaricides and products to control other arthropods) to April 30, 2025;
- Medetomidine for the use in biocidal products of product-type 21 (Antifouling products) to June 30, 2025;
- Tebuconazole for the purpose of its use in biocidal products of product-type 8 (Wood preservatives) to June 30, 2026.
