The 8th December 2022 the Biocidal Products Committee approved Alkyl (C12-16) dimethylbenzyl ammonium chloride (ADBAC/BKC (C12-C16)) (CAS 68424-85-1) as an active substance for use in biocidal products of product-type 1. The approval date will be 1st July 2024. Within this date every company having products manufactured by this specific combination active substance-PT would need to submit a biocidal product/family dossier to be compliant with article 89 dispositions regarding transitional measures between national legislation and BP Regulation.
