The European Commission decided about the approval of biocidal active substances; below the details:
EC approved:
- sulfur dioxide generated from sulfur by combustion for PT 4 (food and feed area);
- formic acid (existing active substance) also for PT 2, 3, 4 and 5 (respectively disinfectants and algaecides not intended for direct application to humans or animals, veterinary hygiene, food and feed area and drinking water).
EC did not approve:
- silver zinc zeolite (existing active substance) also for PT 4 (food and feed area);
- silver zeolite (existing active substance) also for PT 4 (food and feed area).
