ECHA has recently published the “multiannual work programme / strategic plan for 2023-2026” which aims to provide an overview of the activities, objectives and human and financial resources allocated for delivering these projects in 2023 and an outlook until 2026.
The main focus is to ensure a high level of safety for the human health and the environment, also following the European Green Deal and the Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability, and to promote the smooth functioning of the EU single market. ECHA is also encouraging the use of alternatives to in vivo testing.
ECHA will also continue to technically support the Commission during the legislative processes and is now focusing, among other things, on the CLP and REACH revisions.
