The Volume II (Efficacy – Parts B+C: Assessment and Evaluation) Guidance document on the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR) has been updated by ECHA. The new Version 5.0 covers the chapter of the BPR related to disinfectatants for product-types 1 to 5.
Sections on co-formulants being potential active substances, virucidal claims, room and laundry disinfection, and disinfection of packaging before aseptic filling have been added or revised. Also the appendices of the documents have been updated based on recently developed and published European standards.
