As indicated in the updated work programme of the Biocidal Products Committee (BPC), ethanol (PT 1, 2, 4) is scheduled to be discussed at the next Committee meeting, taking place from 25 to 27 November 2025 (BPC-57). This represents a key step in the evaluation of ethanol under the Review Programme, which is now moving towards the adoption phase of the BPC opinion.
