With Decree of July 6, 2023 (Official Gazette No. 217, Sept. 16, 2023), the Italian Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry updated Annexes 1, 2, 3, 7 and 13 to Legislative Decree No. 75 of April 29, 2010, on the Reorganization and revision of the regulations on fertilizers.
This Decree introduced new product categories and changed some requirements for some existing products. These changes took effect on September 17, 2023. A 12-month period is granted for companies to dispose of warehouse stocks of domestic fertilizers whose production took place in accordance with the existing regulations before that date.
