The General Court has dismissed the action brought by AlzChem Trostberg GmbH (Case T-536/23), which sought the annulment of Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1097.
This decision did not approve cyanamide as an existing active substance for use in the following biocidal product-types:
- PT3 – Veterinary hygiene
- PT18 – Insecticides, acaricides and products to control other arthropods
ECHA intervened in the case, supporting the Commission throughout the proceedings.
