The Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/1740, dated 20 November 2020, has just been published in the Official Journal of the European Union. It lays down the necessary provisions for implementing the renewal procedure for active substances whose approval period ends on or after 27 March 2024.
It is understood that this new Regulation does not apply to the renewal of the approval of active substances for which a dedicated regulation extends the approval period to 27 March 2024 or later.
This Regulation enters into force on the twentieth day following its publication and shall apply from 27 March 2021.
