The European Commission has updated the Q&A page “REACH and Chromium(VI) Substances,” which is useful for companies that may be affected by the upcoming restriction proposal. Additionally, the Commission has added two documents with questions and answers regarding the use of hexavalent chromium:
- in the aerospace and defense sector (link)
- in functional chrome plating with decorative character or in plating with decorative purpose only (link).
