The XXII ATP (Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/2564) has been published, updating Annex VI of the CLP Regulation (EC No 1272/2008).
Key updates in the XXII ATP:
- Addition of 27 new substances (including copper and nano-silver).
- Revision of the classification for 16 substances (including formaldehyde, sulphur and glyphosate).
- Removal of certain entries.
The new ATP will enter into force on 20 October 2024 and can be applied on a voluntary basis. It will be mandatory to comply from 1 May 2026.
