The European Commission has granted approval for the active substance currently in use:
- 2,2-Dibromo-2-cyanoacetamide (DBNPA) (CAS 10222-01-2; EC 233-539-7), for product-type 11.
Product-type 11 (PT11) refers to preservatives for liquid-cooling and processing systems.
