ECHA has launched two consultations on substances which meet the criteria for classification as Carcinogen Category 1A or 1B:
- formaldehyde released from the reaction products of glyoxal and urea and formaldehyde (TMAD), for product-types 6, 11 and 13. Consultation end date: 8 May 2026.
- diuron (CAS 330-54-1; EC 206-354-4), for product-types 7 and 10. Consultation end date: 25 May 2026
