The COMMISSION DELEGATED REGULATION (EU) 2023/707 of 19 December 2022 amending Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 as regards hazard classes and criteria for the classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures was published on the Official Journal on the 31st of March 2023.
This regulation amends CLP Regulation by adding new hazard classes and labelling requirements for substances and mixtures and the corresponding scientific criteria to identify them, based on the increased scientific knowledge and experience gained in identifying endocrine disruptors. Below it is reported a scheme of the main deadlines for the ED properties assessment of substances and mixtures:
TEAM mastery has gained great experience in ED properties assessment thanks to study monitoring activities and participation in meeting with Competent Authorities
ED assessment will be carried out according to the following points:
- Gathering of existing data
- QSAR Assessment through several in-silico tools
- Expert based evaluation
- Monitoring of new studies, when necessary, for completing the assessment
