The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has launched two campaigns to remind companies of their obligations under the REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 to keep registration dossiers up to date.
The focus is on:
- Joint submissions where a new lead registrant has not yet updated the lead dossier
- Registrations not aligned with harmonised classifications under the CLP Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008
Companies concerned by these initiatives are being contacted by ECHA via REACH-IT. However, this development serves as an important reminder for all registrants to proactively review their dossiers, particularly if they have not been updated since their initial submission or in recent years.
