In 2025 a new inspection project (REACH-EN-FORCE (REF)-13) to check REACH and CLP compliance of products sold online will take place. Sadly, as previous Forum projects shown, the online sale of chemicals is an area of high non-compliance.
Inspectors will check that articles and/or mixtures, such as toys, common households goods or chemicals sold online comply with REACH restrictions and that mixtures are classified, labelled and packaged in line with CLP. Compliance with POP regulation and RoHS directive may also be inspected.
Also, a Forum subgroup on BPR will focus on verifying the compliance of product labels for biocidal products and their consistency with the Safety Data Sheet, if required.
