The deadline for DUIN submissions was on the 27th of October. By submitting a DUIN notification, companies in UK, or foreign companies covered by Only Representative (OR) agreements, were able to defer obligation of registration for 2, 4, or 6 years, depending on the tonnage band and/or the risk profile of the notified substances.
HSE published, on its website, an update that may concern companies that didn’t submit a DUIN before the established deadline. HSE declares that it’s still possible to submit Downstream User Import Notification (DUIN) through the DEFRA account, even if the deadline has passed. Nevertheless, it is advisable to do so as soon as possible, as HSE did not state a precise deadline for the submission.
TEAM Mastery can support companies for what concerns the UK REACH conformity. We, therefore, invite you to inform us, in case you are interested in a late DUIN submission, so that we can notify the authority as soon as possible.
